It's interesting both photos represent a promise - new life and new beginnings... They represent a balance, seasons cycle, Obama will have his time that God has given him - hopefully he'll remember that.
i like this pairing... made me think: even as we humans here on earth were preoccupied with the excitement of a major, potentially world-changing event, the trees outside continued doing their age-old cycle of growth and stillness and rebirth...
day 1: obama officially sets the wheels in motion for guantanamo to be closed. amongst a myriad of other really wicked things. ahhhh sweet relief.
