Brandon, I am captivated by this photo. Yes, their smiles are contagious. I love how you capture the beauty and delight of Burundians, as well as the struggle. Burundi has contrast, and I appreciate that your photographic depiction reflects that as well. People think all Africans are sad, hopeless and malnourished. But we've seen Africans with such joy, robust laughter and hope for their future. Thank you for capturing that on film, it gives me renewed hope to see those brilliant smiles, countenances aglow with promise!
